About us

Tangosa Ensemble is a group of young, independent, and, above all, accomplished musicians who share their passion for nuevo tango and classical
tango with listeners. The band performs in an original Piazzale style, which
includes:

– Kacper Kaczmarek (bandoneon)
– Olivia Bujnowicz (violin)
– Szymon Drabiński (piano)
– Tomasz Dziubiński (guitar)
– Jakub Kaczmarczyk (double bass)

The ensemble’s members are renowned musicians, winners of both national and international music competitions. They also collaborate with numerous cultural institutions, such as the Warsaw National Philharmonic, the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra and the Fryderyk Chopin Institute. They have also performed in the most prestigious venues in Europe, Asia, and the United States, including the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York.

The Tangosa Ensemble’s work has also been recognized by the “Holy Grail” of tango music worldwide, having collaborated with artists such as Astor Piazzolla and Daniel Barenboim – Rodolfo Mederos. He said, “It’s a great pleasure to follow the musical journey of the Tangosa Ensemble quintet. These young, ambitious, and talented musicians don’t seek recognition, but focus on shaping their own identity while tapping into the very DNA of tango. Reliability and professionalism are their primary goals, which is clearly reflected in their performances. I had the opportunity to witness this firsthand during the Argentine Tango concert in Warsaw, where I shared the stage with part of the ensemble.”
